Stephen Gold is a Senior Advisor at Vestar, providing technology and cybersecurity leadership for Vestar’s diligence efforts and investments across all sectors. Steve is a seasoned senior technology executive, business leader, and digital pioneer, with a strong track record in the successful design, implementation, operation, and support of large-scale technology initiatives and associated businesses. Steve is currently a board member of Vestar portfolio companies Healthgrades and Quest.

Steve is retiring as Executive Vice President, CTO and Chief Digital Operations Officer of Hudson’s Bay Company. At Hudson’s Bay Company, Steve oversaw digital product strategy and development, systems architecture, product engineering and operations. Steve previously served as Chief Information Officer and General Manager of Medco. He also served as Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer and member of the Executive Committee of CVS Health. In this role, Steve operated as the company’s senior technology executive, responsible for all information systems and technology operations including the digital business, as well as client service operations within the company. Steve also previously held the roles at Avaya Inc., as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

Steve holds a Corporate Director roles at Verint and sits on the technology advisory boards of SkyRepublic, Kazuhm and Analytics Ventures. Steve is also a member of the College of Professional Studies Advisory Board of St. John’s University. As a thought leader in the technology community, Steve is active at industry conferences, frequently participating as a keynote speaker, and is often quoted as a subject matter expert in publications.
