More recently, he led the turnaround of provider-payer communications vendor NaviNet, culminating in the company’s successful sale to Patrick Soon-Shiong at NantHealth.
Prior to his service in healthcare, Frank ran the Lotus PC spreadsheet division, developed the Lotus Notes marketing campaign, was CEO of remote access vendor Shiva, and served on the boards of Microstrategy, Sybase, and Powersoft.
He was named the U.S. “Best Private Company CEO” by Upside magazine in 1994 and was a two-time regional finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. As CEO of Shiva Corporation from 1993-1998, he led a highly successful IPO underwritten by Goldman Sachs and Cowen, maintaining a multi-billion-dollar market cap and providing outstanding investor returns.
